'Your Call' Clean-Up Collection Service

Each Waverley household* is entitled to two FREE Your Call collections of household items each calendar year. From 2011, we are also reintroducing our free scheduled clean up collection.

This means households* now have access to three free clean up services per year: one scheduled clean up and two Your Call collections.

To book a Your Call collection, here's what you need to do:

  • Call our Resource Recovery Hotline on 9369 8080 at least 8 days prior to your chosen collection day to organise a collection. Please note, your clean-up collection day corresponds with your garbage and recycling collection day.

  • Once your booking has been made, Council will send you a confirmation letter which includes your collection date, details about how to present your items on the kerbside and an identification sticker to be placed on your clean-up material.

  • Place your clean-up material out on the kerbside the day before your booked collection day. If your clean-up material is put out too early, other people may be tempted to dump rubbish there, making collection difficult and dangerous.

  • Put small items into bags and boxes and remove doors from fridges and other appliances.

  • Make sure there is no more than 2m3 (one trailer load).
  • Please note that mattresses will be collected for recycling 24 hours after our clean-up crew has visited the property.

Already used up your two FREE collections?

If a property has used it’s two FREE collections during a calendar year and additional collections are required then resident’s need to pay a set fee of $55.00 per collection (from a single item such as a fridge or mattress up to 2m3/one trailer load). Credit card payments may be made over the phone when contacting our Resource Recovery Hotline on 9369 8080.
