My name is Lani and I have been an educator with Waverley Family Day Care for over 9 years. I am an experienced educator and was a primary school teacher back in my home country in the Philippines. My philosophy is to bring joy and fun into children’s lives. I like especially working closely with families, building strong relationships for the benefit of the children. Safety of children is always my priority while developing their independent skills and encouraging their curiosity while learning through play. My aim is to develop a strong sense of belonging for the children in my care. I am always aware of where children are developmentally and scaffold their learning through planning activities based on their interests. I encourage creativity, imagination, self-esteem and self-reliance in the children in my care. Please give me a call if you to make an appointment to come and visit my environment.
