Early Education Centres
Council offers affordable education and care within the community by operating four community focused Early Education Centres for children aged 5 and under.
These Early Education Centres cater to working families, with extended operating hours for 49 weeks of the year.
Our high-quality Preschool Program helps prepare children for school through:
- Play based learning;
- Community focused programs;
- STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics;
- ‘Care for Country’ program and bush kinder;
- Social and emotional skills and development;
- Dharawal language, intergenerational program and research; and
- Exceeding the recommended ratio of qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
Our centres are licensed and operate under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations. The National Quality Standards set a framework providing families with a high-quality early education and care service.
