Share & connect with other people

Racism is often hard to talk about. Through the United to End Racism campaign, Waverley Council is committed to creating opportunities for community members to have meaningful conversations and reflect on the themes of identity, inclusion and belonging more generally. We believe that bringing together different voices creates a shared understanding and a more connected and resilient community.

Art Program

Every year, Waverley Council offers two panels at the Bondi Beach Sea Wall to artists from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds through an application process. Once the murals are completed, artists are engaged to deliver some community development activities and participate in an artist talk, Taking Another Look, as featured speakers.
