Waverley Community Garden

Waverley Community Garden

Waverley Community Garden is located at Clementson Park, Bondi Junction and is operated by Council under a plot system. It features 32 kitchen garden plots, an edible native plant border, composting facilities, a rainwater tank, a dedicated children's space, two frog ponds, storage sheds and a shaded meeting space for activities such as environmental education programs and creative art workshops inspired by nature.

The purpose of the community garden is to provide residents who have little or no access to a garden an opportunity to grow their own food, share gardening tips and connect with a diverse network of people. As well as individual members and family groups, there are numerous local community service organisations and early education centres actively involved.

During monthly working bees, members come together to maintain the garden, share produce, exchange ideas and enjoy each other's company.

There is an annual membership fee to access an individual plot of $95 or $70 for concession card holders. The annual fee for membership without an individual plot is $43. Submit your application and see Terms and Conditions.
