The Mill Hill 60+

The Mill Hill 60+ is a Council program for people aged 60 and over offered by the Waverley Community and Seniors Centre, based at the Mill Hill Centre.

It includes an information and referral service and a program of fitness classes and social and educational activities, designed to help people stay healthy, active and connected. Browse classes, activities and Frequently Asked Questions, including how to get started, below.

Frequently Asked Questions

To participate, you must attend a meeting to discuss your individual preferences and needs. Book a welcome meeting and check your eligibility with My Aged Care by calling 1800 200 422.

Waverley Community and Seniors Association’s Annual Membership fee is $10.

Gentle: Improves balance and coordination.

Light: Improves coordination, agility and flexibility.

Moderate: Targets muscular strength, endurance and fitness.

For fitness classes, please bring a water bottle and mat.

Yes, you can still participate in classes in the Active Seniors Program at Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre. These are casual drop-in classes for fit and active seniors; bookings are not required. Find out more and view the timetable.
