Reconciliation Action Plan Advisory Committee
Council celebrates the rich Aboriginal culture and history with the people who live, work in and visit Waverley through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
In 2021, a RAP Advisory Committee was established to provide cultural advice, guidance, feedback and support around implementation and monitoring of actions, projects and commitments identified in the RAP.
The RAP Advisory Committee meets four times annually and new members are engaged every two years. Traditional Custodians – the Bidiagal, Birrabirragal and Gadigal – and other Aboriginal people living in the LGA with a strong connection to the area, are eligible to become members. The Terms of Reference provides more information on how the Committee operates.
