Request a title
- Search catalogue & reserve
If the item you find is unavailable you can reserve it. When the item becomes available you will be notified by SMS, email or letter.
You will need your library card number and password (PIN) to place a reservation.
Your password (PIN) is your date of birth entered as 8 digits DDMMYYYY.
If you are not a member of the library, you will need to join online before reserving an item.
- Purchase suggestion
Library users can make requests for items not held in the collection to be purchased. Each request is assessed based on the library's Collection Development Guidelines.If there is a book, movie, CD or magazine you think the library should purchase? Let us know by filling out the suggest a purchase form.
- Inter-Library Loan Request Form
Can’t find what you are looking for? If you need something we don’t have in our collection, we may be able to get it from another library.
Simply complete an Interlibrary Loan request. A reservation request fee will apply. Please see brochure for ILL & Document Delivery Service.
- Request Items in Languages Other Than English
Waverley Library holds resources in several languages. For languages we do not have, we can request books in languages other than English from the State Library of NSW. These books are available in boxes of 10, 20 or 30 items. Over 40 languages are available. There is no charge for this service.
