To gain full access, you will need to visit the library in person. Don’t forget to bring identification with your name and current address, such as a driver's license or utility bill.

Please notify the library of any changes to your membership including change of name, address or contact details.

Borrowing terms

Members may borrow up to physical 30 items for a three-week period, including books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and iPads.

Items can be automatically renewed up to three times provided the item has not been reserved by another member.

Members can also access a range of items each month for free via the library’s comprehensive digital collection, including:

  • Up to 10 eBook and eAudiobooks loan and 5 holds using the Libby app;
  • Up to 8 titles per month using Hoopla;
  • Up to 10 eBooks and 10 eAudiobooks using BorrowBox;
  • Up to 18 ‘tickets’, which can be used to stream films on Kanopy; and
  • Unlimited eMagazines.

For more information and additional digital resources, visit Digital library.

Returns

Charges apply for overdue items. However, with the automatic renewal options, most people find it easy to return items on time. Please try to be fair to other members; keeping items past the due date may prevent further borrowing.

Items can be returned via the chutes inside the library during opening hours. There is also a chute available next to the library entrance for returns outside of opening hours.

Waverley Library members can manage loans and reservations through Member Services.
