Book clubs
Waverley Library has a number of book clubs, which readers interested in taking part in lively discussions with other keen readers can join.
- Queer Reads Group – A group for members of the local LGBTQI+ community and beyond. Discuss queer lit, culture, graphic novels and much more in a fun and chilled environment. Celebrate diversity and difference and make new friends in the queer community.
- Men's Book Club – A group for over 55s that meets on the fourth Thursday afternoon of each month. Connect with other men in the community who love to read and discuss literature in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
- Waverley Reading Group – Meets on the third Tuesday morning of each month.
- Books, Movies & More Group – This discussion group meets in the morning of the fourth Friday of each month. Engage in lively conversation about your personal choice of books and movies each month.
- Book Club Group – A library supported group that meets every second Sunday of the month. Discussion is based on a different genre each month.
- Ben's Book Club powered by the Libby app – Members of Waverley Library can read the selected title in Libby before joining Ben Hobson online each month to meet the author and discuss the book.

Book club kits
Do you have your own book club or are you thinking of starting a book club? Waverley Library has a number of book club kits available for loan. Stored in a convenient carry bag, each kit contains 10 copies of the same popular book title, suggested discussion points and a handy log sheet. Book club kits are included in the library catalogue.
