This film follows Rose-Lynn Harlan, a fiery and talented young Scottish woman who dreams of becoming a country music star in Nashville. Recently released from prison and struggling to reconnect with her two children, she finds a job as a housecleaner for an ex-TV producer who recognises her potential. As Rose-Lynn battles personal obstacles and her own self-destructive tendencies, she must decide between chasing her dreams or embracing her responsibilities as a mother.
