Past Lives is a romantic drama that explores themes of love, destiny and the complexities of connection and cultural identity. The story follows Na Young and Hae Sung, two 12 year olds who go to the same school in Seoul, South Korea. They go on a play date and develop feelings for one another but shortly after, Nora's family leaves to live in Canada. Years later they reconnect when they spend a week together in New York.
