Location:
Waverley Library
Details
Join us this holiday season for a fabric folding workshop that will elevate your gifts to the next level. Furoshiki is incredibly fun and creative and all skill levels are welcome to attend. This class will be facilitated by library staff.
Furoshiki is a great way reduce, reuse and recycle whilst learning a wonderful and creative new skill set. Discover this ancient method for wrapping and carrying items and creating stunning decorative wrapping and carrying ideas for your gifts.
We will look at some basic designs in furoshiki and with time allowed explore more intricate designs. There are many styles to try but we will focus on wrapping small and medium sized boxes, wine bottles, gift bags and carry bags.
