Parking permit types & fees
There are two types of permits – residential parking and beach parking.
Resident Parking Permits
The below permits can be applied for by residents only, for use in their specific Resident Parking Scheme Zone. All permits must be linked to a specific vehicle registration, except for daily visitor permits.
A maximum of 3 residential permits may be held by a household at any time (inclusive of residential, motorcycle/scooters, visitor and carer permits), however this is reduced by the number of off-street car spaces. Beach, daily visitor and tradesperson permits are not counted in the aforementioned limit. Non-strata buildings and registered boarding houses are entitled to one permit per unit or boarding room if there is no allocated car space.
See the Resident parking permits page for more information on permit zones, conditions and to apply.
