Waverley Council is delighted to announce the longlist for this year’s $40,000 Mark and Evette Moran Nib Literary Award. View the full longlist here. Congratulations to all longlisted authors and their publishers.
Finalists
A shortlist of six finalists will be announced on 17 September 2024. Each finalist will receive the Alex Buzo Shortlist Prize ($1,500) and become eligible for the Nib People’s Choice Prize, awarded by popular vote.
Winners
Recipients ofthe Nib People's Choice Prize and $40,000 Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award will be announced at a public event on 27 November 2025.
