Public Art

Public art enlivens our streets, parks and public places forming an important part of Waverley's character. Waverley contains many public artworks by artists of national and international significance. These walking tours aim to highlight the diversity of Waverley's public art, offering a chance to explore our region and the iconic artworks it hosts.

Waverley Council, private developers and business operators all play a role in the commissioning of public artworks.

The Bondi Beach Sea Wall is open to artists of all calibres. Artists seeking permission to paint a mural must submit an application online.
