Tamarama beach

Just a few kilometres from the centre of Sydney, Waverley Council is renowned for its stunning coastline and beaches at Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte, which are patrolled year-round by our lifeguards. Whether you feel like soaking up the sun at the beach, doing laps in an ocean pool, embarking on the breathtaking coastal walk from Bondi to Bronte or Coogee, or even taking a surf lesson, there is something on offer for everyone.

When it’s time to refuel, enjoy a picnic at one of Waverley’s beachside parks and reserves, equipped with barbecues, playgrounds and other amenities. Explore local markets for unique treasures, or immerse yourself in the arts at the Bondi Pavilion. With so many fantastic cafés and restaurants, don’t miss the opportunity to indulge in the local cuisine while exploring Waverley’s beaches and coastline.
