Bondi Beach Park

Australia’s most famous beach is surrounded by park facilities, including a skate park, playground, outdoor gym, barbecue areas and children’s pool. The iconic Bondi Pavilion takes centre stage, where swimming amenities are met with dining and entertainment.

To the north of Bondi Beach Park is Biddigal Reserve. The area is also home to Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club, North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club and Bondi Icebergs Club with its iconic sea pool.

Public facilities

Play equipment: North Bondi large playground.

Sporting facilities: North Bondi Outdoor Gym, Bondi Skate Park, Wally Weekes Pool (tidal pool), North Bondi Children’s Pool and designated beach volleyball area.

Barbecue facilities: Four free stations open until dusk.

Food & beverage facilities: Bondi Pavilion.

Toilets: North Bondi, South Bondi and Bondi Pavilion. Refer to toiletmap.gov.au.

Parking: Use public transport. Limited metered street parking. Mobility bay parking available along Ramsgate Ave.

Pets: Limited on leash areas (see map below).

Art: Bondi Beach public art and Bondi Beach sea wall.

Accessibility

Events & Hire

Maximum group of 50 for informal gatherings e.g. family picnic.

Prohibitions

  • Alcohol prohibited area.
  • Ball games prohibited (beach volleyball permitted on southern end of beach).
  • Bicycles prohibited on the promenade.
  • Dogs prohibited on the beach and within 10m of children’s play areas and public barbecues. Dogs permitted on-leash on the coastal walk and promenade.
  • No charcoal, solid fuel barbecues or open fires.
  • No camping or staying overnight.​
  • No smoking within 10m of playground or on beach.​
  • No kites.
