Hugh Bamford Reserve

Hugh Bamford Reserve is a large, grassed area in North Bondi bordered by steep sea cliffs to the east and Military Road to the west.

The reserve features a half size playing field, Hugh Bamford Reserve Hall, a grassed amphitheatre and lookout with spectacular views south towards Bondi and onto Malabar Headland and west toward the city and harbour.

Public facilities

Sporting facilities: Turf half size playing field.

Toilets: Refer to toiletmap.gov.au for closest public toilets.

Parking: Limited on site parking on-site.

Pets: Designated off-leash area (see map below).

Walks: Refer HelloBondi.com.

Events & Hire

To hire a venue or sport facilities at a park or reserve, visit our online booking system.

For formal gatherings (e.g. weddings), corporate activations, events with larger groups or filming and photography, see Use of public spaces.

Prohibitions

Alcohol prohibited area.
Dogs prohibited on sports field and bushland to left of off-leash area (see map).
No charcoal, solid fuel barbecues or open fires.
No camping or staying overnight.
