Varna Park

Dedicated as a park in 1887, Varna Park is a cherished suburban pocket of greenery in Waverley. At the western end is a popular children’s playground with swings, rockers, a climbing structure and a range of play items to suit kids of all ages. Adjacent are sheltered picnic tables and a modern outdoor gym. The eastern end is a large designated off-leash dog walking area.

Prohibitions

  • Ball games prohibited.
  • No charcoal, solid fuel barbecues or open fires.
  • Dogs prohibited within 10m of children’s play areas and must be on-leash at western end of park.
  • No camping or staying overnight.​
  • No smoking within 10m of playground.
