Indoor sports court (MWRC)

The indoor sports court in the Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre is a multi-purpose court that caters for a wide range of sports, including basketball, netball, table tennis, futsal and volleyball.

Facility details

Capacity: 50 seats in spectator viewing area.

Dimensions: 37.5m x 26.5m (full hall); 30m x 15m (actual court size).

What is provided: 90 chairs and 2 tables. Futsal goals, netball posts, volleyball posts and basketball hoops are available, plus line markings for basketball, futsal, volleyball, netball and pickleball. Two large unisex accessible bathrooms and an accessible water fountain. Adjoining changeroom can be provided upon request. Large ceiling fans, digital scoreboard and a storeroom available for regular users.

Available hours: Monday to Sunday, 7am–10.30pm .

Access information: Keyless entry system. Hirers will be issued with an access code prior to booking start time.

Parking: Limited on-street parking around the perimeter of Waverley Park.
