The School of Arts Community Hall is a large hall in the School of Arts building suitable for small-to-medium-sized community meetings and events, dance classes and other low-impact exercise classes. The hireable School of Arts Room A is in the same building.

Venue details

Capacity: 100 standing, 60 seated.

Dimensions: 17m x 7m.

What is provided: Use of 60 chairs, 2 trestle tables, toilet facilities and kitchenette with a microwave, fridge freezer and sink.

Available hours: Monday to Sunday, 7am–9.30pm.

Access information: The building is supervised by Waverley Woollahra Art School staff between 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. An access card is needed to access the building outside of these hours. This can be collected from the Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre office during office hours, 8.30am–4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Parking: On street parking in the surrounding streets.
