Waverley Council is inviting the community to provide feedback about proposed changes to parking in parts of Bondi and Tamarama.

It is consulting on a proposal to extend Council’s Residential Parking Scheme (RPS) to Alexander, Carlisle, Denham and Fletcher streets and Gaerloch and Illawong avenues. These streets are located within existing RPS Area 11. Extending the RPS would limit parking in these streets to two hours for non-permit holders.

Residents of Waverley within a RPS zone are entitled to up to three permits per single residence (conditions apply).

The Council wants to hear from residents about what they think about the proposal including whether parking conditions should remain unchanged. Residents are invited to complete our survey at https://haveyoursay.waverley.nsw.gov.au/traffic. The survey closes Thursday 10 March.

In September last year, Council resolved to consult with residents about parking in the area after receiving requests for improvements to be made. For more information about our RPS, visit waverley.nsw.gov.au/rps
